1) Fees (default schedule)

Actual fees for your account appear in your dashboard and may vary for promotions or programs.

Payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe/PayPal) are charged per transaction and depend on buyer currency & method. We pass the actual cost through.

2) Payout Schedule

Frequency: Monthly batch (default: processed between the 1st–5th business day).
Clearing period: 7–14 days after each sale to cover refunds/chargebacks and fraud checks.
Minimum thresholds (default): PayPal: $25 • Bank Transfer/ACH: $100.
Processing time after issue: PayPal 2–5 business days • Bank Transfer 3–7 business days.

If your balance is below the threshold, it rolls over to the next cycle. Custom schedules may be available for high-volume sellers.

3) Payout Methods & Currencies

Methods: PayPal, Bank Transfer/ACH (region-dependent), other local options where supported.
Base currency: USD. If a buyer pays in another currency, conversion uses the processor’s FX rate (and any processor spread) at settlement.
Fees: Method-specific withdrawal fees may apply; check your provider’s schedule.

4) Balance States (Dashboard)

Pending: Sale recorded; awaiting processor confirmation.
Clearing: Within the 7–14 day clearing window.
Available: Eligible for the next payout batch.
On Hold: Temporary hold due to disputes, compliance review, or chargeback risk.

5) Taxes & Compliance

US sellers: Submit W-9. We may issue Form 1099-NEC if thresholds are met.
Non-US sellers: Submit W-8BEN/W-8BEN-E to claim treaty benefits (if applicable).
VAT/GST: Where required, buyer taxes may be collected/remitted by StockDokan or the processor. You remain responsible for your own business taxes.
Invoices: Itemized invoices/receipts are available to buyers; seller earnings statements appear in your dashboard.

6) Reserves, Refunds & Chargebacks

Rolling reserve (if triggered): We may reserve a small % of new sales for a short period for risk management.
Refunds: If a sale is refunded (see Refund Policy), the refunded amount is deducted from your balance.
Chargebacks: Disputed transactions may be debited plus the processor’s dispute fee. We will share evidence and keep you updated.
Policy violations: Earnings may be held or reversed for fraudulent, infringing, or misrepresented items.

7) Example Earnings Calculation

Scenario: Theme (code) sold at $20.00 (USD)

Marketplace fee (25%): $5.00
Payment processor fee (example 2.9% + $0.30): $0.88
Your earnings: $20.00 − $5.00 − $0.88 = $14.12

Actual processor fees vary by country/card type; the dashboard shows exact amounts per sale.

8) Eligibility, Holds & Account Health

Complete your profile, tax form, and payout method to receive payouts.
We may pause payouts while investigating fraud, IP claims, or unusual activity. You’ll see notices in your dashboard.
Repeat policy violations can lead to permanent holds and account closure (see Seller Agreement).

9) How Payouts Work

Sales move from Pending → Clearing → Available (after 7–14 days).
On the monthly batch window, if your Available balance ≥ threshold, we issue the payout.
You receive an email confirmation once the batch is sent. Bank arrival times vary by country.

10) FAQs

Can I get paid in EUR/GBP?

Our base is USD. Some methods support local currency at the processor’s FX rate. Check your payout method settings.

What if I don’t meet the threshold?

Your balance rolls over to the next cycle automatically.

Do you withhold taxes?

We may withhold where required by law (e.g., missing tax forms or treaty rules). Submit the correct W-9 or W-8 to avoid unnecessary withholding.

Can I request an early/manual payout?

For high-volume sellers, early payouts may be available on request. Contact support@stockdokan.com.
