Simple summary

All purchases are licenses, not ownership. The item’s page may include seller-specific terms; if so, those govern.
Standard: 1 seat, up to 1,000,000 impressions (web/app/social/ads), limited print runs.
Extended: multi-seat/org use, unlimited impressions, broader print & limited merchandise (not “as-is”).
Attribution is not required unless stated on the item page.

1) What you are licensing

You receive a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the item according to the plan (Standard or Extended). Intellectual property remains with the creator/seller.

If an item page includes a seller’s custom license (e.g., GPL for code, special editorial license for photos), the item page license controls for that item.

2) License plans

3) Permitted uses

Websites, apps, blogs, social media, presentations, ads and banners (within the plan limits).
Editorial content and internal documents (unless the item is marked Commercial Use Only).
Modifications and derivative works (you must add value; do not misrepresent authorship).
Embedding items into larger designs, videos, or software where the item is not the main value and cannot be extracted “as-is”.

4) Prohibited uses

Resale, sharing, or redistribution of the original file “as-is” (including on other marketplaces or drives).
Use in a logo or trademark as-is (you must make a unique mark; do not attempt to register stock elements alone).
Any unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or adult/NSFW uses; promotion of hate or violence.
Training machine learning/AI models with the files or metadata (unless expressly permitted by the item’s license).
Portraying identifiable people in a bad light or in a misleading context (for people-based assets).

5) Asset-specific notes

Photos

Commercial use allowed per plan. No attribution required unless stated on the item page.
Model/property releases: Sellers are responsible to indicate if releases exist. Buyers must ensure usage fits their campaign and region.
No “as-is” resale. Merchandise requires added design value (see plan limits).

Vectors, Illustrations & Icons

Edit colors, shapes, and combine with other elements freely.
Do not register stock icons/illustrations as a trademark or claim exclusive rights.
Pack redistribution (icon packs “as-is”) is not allowed.

Videos & Motion (including Lottie)

Use in edits, ads, websites, apps, broadcasts (Extended for broadcast/OOH).
Do not distribute raw clips “as-is” or as stock.

Themes, Templates & UI Kits

Use to build end-products for yourself or clients. Provide a compiled/exported product where possible.
Redistributing the original editable files as a competing template is not allowed.

Plugins & Extensions

License grants use for specified sites/projects. API keys or updates may require an active subscription if stated by the seller.
Do not resell plugin files or license keys “as-is”.
Open-source exceptions (e.g., GPL) will be clearly stated on the item page.

Apps & Source Code

Use in one product (Standard) or multiple products within your organization (Extended) unless the item page says otherwise.
Do not publicly redistribute the source “as-is”. Client work is allowed; keep buyer secrets and keys out of source control.
If the seller designates an open-source license (MIT/GPL/etc.), those terms will control.

Audio (SFX & Music)

Use in videos, podcasts, apps, games. Broadcast/OOH requires Extended.
Standalone distribution or “as-is” resampling libraries are not allowed.

7) Attribution

Attribution is not required unless the item page requests it. If you choose to credit, use: “Asset by [Creator Name] via StockDokan”.

8) Releases & responsibilities

Sellers should indicate if model/property releases exist. Buyers remain responsible for ensuring their final use is compliant for their industry and region.
Do not imply endorsement by any person, brand, or property.

9) Seats, transfer & subcontractors

Seats: Standard = 1 user; Extended = up to 10 users. Need more seats? Contact support@stockdokan.com.
Transfer: You cannot transfer the license. You may deliver a final end product to a client (no source files “as-is”).
Subcontractors: Allowed if they work under your seats and do not keep copies after the project.

10) Term & termination

Licenses are perpetual for the specified end product(s) as long as you comply with these terms. We may revoke access if a purchase is refunded/charged back or an item violates policy or third-party rights.

11) FAQs

Do I need to credit the creator?

No, attribution is optional unless the item page states otherwise.

Can I use items for multiple clients?

Yes, but each client project needs its own license (Standard per project; Extended may cover multiple internal products within your org).

Can I put items into a downloadable template?

Yes if the item is embedded and not extractable “as-is”; you must add significant value. For high-volume template sales, use Extended.

What if an item infringes rights?

Report via our DMCA & Copyright Policy. We review and act promptly.
