Upload Rules

1) Who can upload

• Sellers must be 18+ (or local age of majority) and able to enter a contract.
• You must have the legal right to license the content worldwide (see License & Usage).
• We may require identity, tax/KYC, or payout verification before publishing or releasing earnings.

2) Ownership, releases & permissions

• Upload only original work or work you are authorized to distribute and license.
• People & property: if a person is identifiable or a private property/venue is recognizable, keep a signed model/property release on file and indicate its availability on the item page.
• No logos, trademarks, or brand assets unless you have written permission.
• Editorial-only content must be clearly marked as such (no commercial use).

3) Prohibited & restricted content

• Pirated/re-uploaded stock, scraped datasets, or content generated from materials you don’t own rights to.
• Defamatory, hateful, violent, misleading, or adult/NSFW content.
• Malware, obfuscated scripts, license-key leaks, or backdoors in code/plugins.
• Personally identifiable information (PII) inside files or previews.
• Duplicate or near-duplicate items that add no material value.

4) Metadata (title, description, tags)

• Title: clear and specific (50–70 chars). Example: “Construction Workers & Tower Crane at Sunrise – 4K Photo”.
• Description: minimum 120–180 words; include subject, style, usage ideas, formats, dimensions, color space.
• Tags: 8–15 relevant, comma-separated; avoid repeats and brand names; no keyword stuffing.
• Category: choose the closest match (Photos, Vectors, Videos, Themes, Plugins, Apps/Code, 3D/Mockups, Audio).

6) Packaging, archives & filenames

• Include only necessary files; remove junk folders (__MACOSX, Thumbs.db, etc.).
• ZIP root should contain a clear structure: /docs, /source, /exports, /license.
• Filename format: category-keywords-version.ext (e.g., photos-construction-crane-v1.jpg / theme-saas-starter-v1.2.zip).
• Provide a short README.md with install/usage notes and support contact (if you offer support).

7) Quality & integrity checks

• Run a virus/malware scan before uploading. We also scan server-side; suspicious files will be rejected.
• No broken archives, missing assets, or unresolved dependencies.
• Color/profile: use sRGB for web previews; include color profile for print-oriented assets if relevant.
• For code/plugins: remove secrets/keys; pin dependencies; include version & changelog.

8) Duplicates, variants & updates

• Do not upload identical or trivial variants (e.g., only minor hue changes). Batch different angles/styles as one item with multiple previews.
• Updates should increment version numbers and include a changelog (e.g., v1.1 – added dark theme).
• Major changes that materially alter the product can be a new item; small changes should be an update.

9) License selection on item pages

• Each item must map to Standard or Extended (or a clearly stated seller license for code/templates).
• No claims of exclusivity unless agreed with StockDokan in writing.
• Do not mislead buyers about usage rights; screenshots must reflect what’s included.

10) SEO & discoverability best practices

• Write human-readable titles; avoid ALL-CAPS and emojis in titles.
• Keep descriptions structured: overview → use-cases → specs → what’s included → license summary.
• Use consistent terms (e.g., “construction”, “crane”, “workers”) and include long-tail phrases naturally.

11) Review, moderation & removal

• All uploads are reviewed. We may edit minor metadata, categorize, approve, or reject at our discretion.
• We may remove items for policy violations, legal risk, low quality, or poor buyer experience.
• Repeat violations may lead to account limits, delisting, or termination (see DMCA & Terms).

12) Support expectations (for sellers who offer support)

• State clearly if you provide support/updates. If yes, mention response window (e.g., 2–5 business days) on the item page.
• Provide installation notes, known limitations, and compatibility (browsers, frameworks, versions).
• Respect buyer privacy; do not request credentials unless essential, and never store payment data.

13) Regional & legal notes (worldwide)

• Comply with local laws where your content will be used (privacy, publicity, consumer, export controls).
• Where required, disclose any third-party assets used and provide their licenses in the ZIP’s /license folder.
• Do not imply endorsement by any person, brand, or property.

14) Violations & strikes

• Minor issues (metadata/format): warning + fix request.
• Serious issues (IP violation, harmful code, re-uploads): item removal + strike; repeated offenses may lead to suspension or termination.
• Payouts may be held during investigations of fraud, chargebacks, or rights claims.
